DEFOE SIGNS WITH AURORA UNIVERSITY!
Noah DeFoe, Hamilton Heights’ senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Aurora University Spartans in Aurora, Illinois this fall. Aurora University is a member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC). He is the son of Larry and Jody DeFoe.
DeFoe, who plans to pursue a degree in exercise science to become a strength and conditioning coach and firefighter, selected Aurora University because he felt it was the best environment for him to grow and accomplish his post-secondary goals as a student athlete.
Football has been a lifelong passion for DeFoe who has been a staple of the Hamilton Heights Football team during his tenure. He is a hard worker who trains nearly every day to be at the top of his game to make valuable contributions every season. DeFoe helped the Huskies football team to a 29-14 record and three conference championships. DeFoe credits his parents as being a major influence and major supporters on and off the field helping him to prepare for this milestone moment.
Mitch Street, Hamilton Heights Head Football Coach said, “Noah is a kid who has worked really hard to contribute at a high level at the varsity level. Noah is a kid who has always understood the importance of carrying out his role to the best of his ability. I look forward to watching him grow as a person and a football player at the next level.”
"Noah is an extremely hard worker who has represented Hamilton Heights well on and off the field,” said Kurt Ogden, Hamilton Heights Athletic Director. “He was a positive member on the football team, committed to his role and being a good teammate. We wish him well as he continues his football career at Aurora University."
